The tiger population in Karnataka seems to be improving with the tiger reserves in the State showing signs of rise in the number of the big cats. A team of forest experts as a part of conducting the census has indicated that during the exercise, several new tigers were spotted which brings more hope to the tiger status. The census conducted at Bhadra wildlife sanctuary northwest of Chikmagalur region has shown positive signs for the tiger reserve which is also home for diverse range of wildlife.
