2 JD(S) MLC's quit to join BJP

In an unanticipated move for the JD(s), two of its MLC's have resigned from their seats. The move also comes as a setback for the JD(s) who have thrown the blame on the BJP for luring its members to strengthen their base. This has also changed the equation of the opposition party with JD(s) now reduced to 15 seats from 17 while the Congress now stands with 16 seats.
