8 new trains, medical college for State

Union Railway Minister Mamta Banerjee's Railway Budget in Lok Sabha on Friday comprised of several projects for Karnataka as well.
Karnataka got its fair share probably with its Minister of State for railways, K H Muniyappa. Interestingly this year Kkarnataka has been allotted Rs 800 crore on various projects. 8 new trains are introduced,upgrading Bangalore, Mangalore and Bypanahalli into world class stations.
Besides a medical college is also proposed to come up at Mysore Railway Hospital which will be set up by private-public patnership mode. --MP
