Ambareesh files nomination from Mandya

Actor turned politician M H Ambareesh who remained silent for a while has finally come forward to file his nomination on Congress ticket from his constituency Mandya.

The former Union Minister and  three time MP is seeking re-election from Mandya. JD(S) candidate Cheluvarayaswamy and Shivarame Gowde of BJP are fielded against him in Mandya.

The actor was accompanied by his wife and actress Sumalatha, MLA Siddaramaiah, along with actor friend Vishnuvardhan and wife Bharati while filing his nomination papers on Thursday.--MP
