Sonia to kick off campaign from Davangere

Congress President Sonia Gandhi will officially kick off her party's country wide election campaign for the forthcoming LS elections from Karnataka. She will launch the poll campaign from Davangere on March 23rd.

A day before this the Congress party is expected to release the party's election manifesto.

 

Launching the campaign from Karnataka is also seen as a step to hit out other major parties like the BJP and the newly formed Third Front which also made its launch from Karnataka.
