CM's son to contest from Shimoga

Finally the top BJP leadership have given nod to Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa's son B Y Raghavendra to contest for the upcoming LS elections.

This comes in the wake of the BJP's national selection comitteee giving  a go ahead for Raghavendra to contest on BJP ticket.

He will be fielded from Shimoga constituency which was held by S. Bangarappa, who had quit BJP and now joined Congress. So far around 20 candidates from Karnataka is said to have cleared the names for their nominations.
