Cong to contest on its own: Moily

Senior Congress leader M Veerappa Moily has said that his party would face the forthcoming elections on its own.

Talking to media ahead of the party's meeting on campaigning strategies, he said: "The Congress will contest the elections on its own."

The Pradesh Election Committee of the Congress will decide on the final list of candidates for the elections and will be screened by the Screening Committee. Then Cong's Central Election Committee will put up the final list of the candidates.
