The Karnataka BJP unit is not happy with the functioning of the Governor Rameshwar Thakur in the State.

 

The angry party leaders who criticised the Governor's actions also alleged that he was neglecting the state's development by not implementing the 2007-08 budget proposals of the JDS-BJP Government.

 

"We will write to the President and the Prime Minister on the Governor's style of functioning. We will also chalk out state-wide agitation programmes against the Governor shortly," said BJP leader and former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa.

 

"Only 60 per cent of the outlay proposed in the budget has been achieved so far," he added.
