Varasdhara

Varasdhara is the recent Kannada film made by B.P. Srinivas and Arun Rajappa. The film is directed by Guru Deshpande. Newcomers Sandeep and Ashwini does justice to their roles. The film themed on the subject terrorism tries to potray the influence of underworld in helping the government to fight off terrroism. Belagere as the don shines. Dattana does a commendable performance. Sadashiva Brahmavar, Navnith Srinivas, Dilip, Venkatappa, Master Kiran etc are there in the cast. Rajesh Ramanath music is fine. Though a debutant, the director does a good job in presenting the story and makes it a watchable one. --MP
